A day among the vineyards with picnic basket pickup and a dedicated itinerary among the area’s giant benches. The proposal includes a picnic bag of cold local specialties such as cheese and cold cuts, appetizers, bread, dessert, water and a bottle of wine for every two people.
We provide a picnic basket and map, you arm yourself with a free day and a camera. the rest is taken care of by the beautiful landscape and giant benches that stud the hills of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato!
DELIVERY OF THE PICNIC BASKET WILL TAKE PLACE DIRECTLY TO THE DELI, TAVERN OR BAR (PLACE AND TIME OF PICKUP WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN FINAL CONFIRMATION ALONG WITH THE LIST OF GIANT BENCHES).

An unforgettable and fun tour to reach the most scenic spot in the city by traversing small streets amidst vineyards with a bird’s-eye view of this enchanting place.
After familiarizing yourself with your Segway® through the training phase, you will be led through the streets of the historic center of Alba, reach the Altavilla hill and the surrounding hills to admire the striking views of the city and vineyards. It is an unforgettable and fun experience, definitely worthwhile to appreciate the landscape while riding an innovative vehicle that will make you feel part of nature while moving effortlessly.

Training: about 30 minutes
It is not so much a demonstration of the skills of those who lead, but a participation of the group in the creation of some dishes that will then be eaten together.
Menu hypothesis:
Small appetizer: “bagnet”
Seasonal vegetable flan with Langa toma cheese fondue
Ravioli al “plin” with butter and sage
Braised beef with Nebbiolo wine
“Bunet” – lady’s kisses
For the realization of the proposed dishes, only the following will be used seasonal foods, from small local and organic producers, flours semintegral and whole grain from local stone mills and cane sugar whole or unrefined. It is possible to agree on a vegetarian menu, always respecting tradition.
The workshop includes:
– kitchen activities of about 3 hours, (approximately from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. or from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m., unless otherwise agreed upon times);
– active lesson (“hands on”) in the kitchen with preparation of the menu proposed;
– delivery of recipes;
– lunch (aperitif, an appetizer, first course, second course and dessert); coffee, tasting of two wines from local wineries (arneis, barbera or nebbiolo) and beverages included.
Appropriate attire is recommended.
