In the heart of the Langhe, in the Bussia area of Monforte d’Alba, you find Cascina Sciulun, an ancient farm typical of the Piedmontese architectural tradition. The building, built in the mid-nineteenth century and enlarged in the 1940s, has always belonged to the Conterno family. The Franco Conterno Winery includes 28 hectares of vineyards, located in the territories of Monforte d’Alba, Barolo, Castiglione Falletto, Novello and Madonna di Como. Cascina Sciulun today houses, in addition to the winery, a farmhouse that offers its guests 2 rooms surrounded by the silence of the countryside, tasty homemade breakfasts and tastings of their wines in the old cellar now used as a tasting room. You can walk or ride a bicycle following the paths through the vineyards, rediscover the history visiting the castles, taste the typical dishes of the area in the cozy restaurants, participate to the numerous events to get to know the villages that populate the Langhe hills or simply relax in the garden with a good glass of wine admiring a splendid sunset.
