La Casa di Rosa is located 100 meters from the main square of the town of Monforte and about forty from the free public parking. It is an excellent position to move on foot among restaurants, wine bars and wineries, but also to visit the historic center or walk the Seven Paths that cross the Monforte area between vineyards and woods. In 2017, the renovation of the old house of Nonna Rosa started, combining respect for its memory with environmental sustainability, alternating tradition with new knowledge. The spaces have been divided into four independent apartments on two floors served by a lift, with the goal of offering the best comfort with eco-friendly solutions to ensure thermal and acoustic well-being. The apartments, very well lit, are certified in Class A. Each apartment has been named after the wild herbs used by the grandmothers to flavor the dishes: Livertin (hops), Lancianciun (dandelion), Barbabùc (salsify), Pimpinella (green anise). If it’s the right season, you’ll find these same herbs in the dishes prepared in Enoteca Rocca.
