
From the Latin safranum, arising from the Arabic za’faran, the name Saffron means golden yellow, light, lighting, revealed wisdom. Saffron is one of the most powerful antioxidants in nature, capable of awakening lost energies and giving out fine and intriguing flavours to our dishes. Established in 2013, the Montagliato Farm was set up after 2 years of study of the product and the area. With great enthusiasm, Safranum produces today an excellent saffron following the best standards required by the market and organizes visits at the farm with tastings of saffron based food.
