Reported to its splendid origins from a careful restoration, the MODA Venue is a building of the fifteenth century, in the historic center of the town of Monforte d'Alba. The building impresses with highly innovative, both at a conceptual level that's gastronomic proposal. Inside the venue to life an onsite restaurant, MODA, cozy, traditional, with open kitchens and a large roof terrace that offers breathtaking scenery. Osteria dei Catari

Located in a lane in the village of Monforte, Osteria dei Catari serves Langa-style cuisine that varies following the seasons. The finest labels - all Piedmontese - feature on the wine-list. The premises have been given an original, characteristic look by the artistic influences featured in the creative work of Gregor Durlik, a Polish artist. The name of the osteria was inspired by the events - half history, half legend - that involved the Cathars, a group of Christians who lived on the rock of Monforte in the early XI century.
Osteria I Rebbi

The Osteria I Rebbi was opened in summer of 2013 in a restored old farmhouse, situated among the vines and hazelnut groves of the hamlet of San Sebastiano in the town of Monforte d’Alba, near the border to the town of Dogliani. The menu changes seasonally and is based on the finest available primary materials that the territory has to offer. In a swirl of flavors and aromas, from antipasti to dessert courses, the Chef Valerio presents light and genuine preparations, where fresh pasta, local Piedmontese meats, and cheeses of the nearby valleys take center stage.

From June 28th to August 9th, every Thursday from 7.00 pm, Ristorante FRE will open its terrace with a beautiful view over the vineyards. Seven appointments dedicated to music, to Chef Paolo Meneguz and his team’s summer kitchen, to FRE wines and cocktail and to artisanal beers by small local producers. A nice opportunity to experiment the young atmosphere of the restaurant and of the artists playing some jazz, rock, pop, soul, blues ed electro swing in the unique environment of the Langhe hills. The countryside house, new seat of the restaurant, has been completely restored and furnished by the chef and owner Gianfranco Massolino, in the desire to reproduce the warmth and the charm of Piedmont's old countryside in a new and elegant environment, including a wonderful terrace. The care for ingredients, especially mushrooms and truffles, is outstanding. Along with Piedmont's traditional recipes obviously proposed in according to the suitable season, the Chef likes to propose international cuisine's great classics, especially fish and foie gras.
La Repubblica di Perno

In Perno, a small village 5 km from Monforte, in an old "Gnoccheria", the talented chef Marco Forneris and his partner gave birth to the Republic of Perno, a typical Langa tavern that is not denied a modern look but in dishes and bottles is firmly anchored in the local tradition. In the small room on the first floor, or even better in the outdoor area overlooking the vineyards, you will find Russian salad and vitello tonnato, tajarin, gnocchi and ravioli, kid, finanziera, boiled chicken and finally the traditional dessert, bonet and panna cotta.

Born in 1987 as a club, a meeting of the villagers, this small restaurant has achieved success over the years with a range of typical Langhe and excellent wines produced directly in the family business. In 2001 it was completely renovated to afford to offer its guests the best.
